Title	Tea utensil box
Description	Chabako are used for a variety of seasonal tea procedures (temae) designed for outdoor presentation. The host outfits the box with a selection of all the utensils necessary to prepare tea for the guests. Sets of matching covers (shifuku) are used to protect the utensils when transporting the box, and are integral to the majority of temae. Although the chabako temae known today were conceived by the 11th generation Urasenke master Gengensai, (1810-1877), a chabako owned by Sen Rikyu (1522-1591) does exist, though how he used it is not known.
