Description
L to R : unidentified , Jack Nakano , Nick Nakano . Photograph from the Nakano family album . Asataro Nakano and Misao Gyotoku Nakano immigrated from Japan in the early 1900s . They settled in West Sacramento where they purchased land to farm . Their three children are: Margaret Shigeko Nakano , Ruth Kikue Nakano , and George Asato Nakano . The Nakano family and extended family members were sent to Amache Relocation Center during the Internment period . Upon release they settled in Denver , Colorado .
