Description
Identified : Back row third from left K . Nomiyama and fourth is Harry Tsuruda . Photograph from the Nakano family album . Asataro Nakano and Misao Gyotoku Nakano immigrated from Japan in the early 1900s . They settled in West Sacramento where they purchased land to farm . Their three children include : Margaret Shigeko Nakano , Ruth Kikue Nakano , and George Asato Nakano . The Nakano family and extended family members were sent to the Granada Relocation Center in Amache , Colorado during the Internment period . Upon release they settled in Denver , Colorado . Ruth Kikue Nakano married Yoshio Harry Tsuruda .
