Identified : First row : Bob Matsuda's sister , Watanabe ; Second row : TAkeo Higashino , Matsuda , Mrs . Tsuruda , Mrs . Isaburo Nakano ; Back row : Bob Matsuda , Konishi ; Children : Louise Mitsuko Nakano , Meriko Tsuruda . Photograph from the Nakano family album . Asataro Nakano and Misao Gyotoku Nakano immigrated from Japan in the early 1900s . They settled in West Sacramento where they purchased land to farm . Their three children include : Margaret Shigeko Nakano , Ruth Kikue Nakano , and George Asato Nakano . The Nakano family and extended family members were sent to the Amache Relocation Center during the Internment period . Upon release they settled in Denver , Colorado .
